Ste-γ-Glu-AEEA-AEEA-OSU (CAS: 1169630-40-3), as the side chain of semaglutide, can be used in the semi-synthetic recombinant fermentation process of semaglutide, this product introduces crucial segments, including the 18-carbon fatty acid side chain, AEEA-AEEA, and glutamic acid, to confer a long-acting effect. It can effectively avoid racemization and degradations, increase yield, and improve product purity. This is achieved by removing the tert-butyl group before coupling, thus eliminating the need to remove this protection group via TFA.
